This app is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

3. What Data We Collect

Data you provide

• First name (your choice)
• Email address (account creation)
• Journey stage and app preferences
• Mood logs, journal entries, symptom records
• PHQ-9 responses (device-only — never transmitted)
• Baby information you choose to enter

Automatically collected

• Location (country-level only, used to show local crisis numbers — never stored)
• Subscription status (via Apple — we never see payment details)

We do not collect advertising identifiers, cross-app data, precise GPS, or data from other apps.

5. How We Use Your Data

• Provide and personalise app features
• Sync data across your devices via iCloud
• Process subscription payments via Apple
• Show local crisis support contacts (not stored)
• Send optional push notifications

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.

6. AI and Third-Party Services

Bloom AI: When you enable AI context sharing, conversation messages and limited wellness context are sent to Anthropic, Inc. (USA) via the Claude API. We do not share your name, email, or account credentials with Anthropic.

iCloud: Data syncs via your personal Apple iCloud account. Apple App Store: We receive only your subscription status. No advertising SDKs or analytics services receive your data.

7. Data Storage, Security and Retention

Wellness data is stored encrypted on your device using iOS Data Protection (AES-256). Delete your account in Profile → Delete Account — all data purged within 30 days.

8. International Transfers

When you use Bloom AI, conversation data transfers to Anthropic, Inc. in the USA, covered by Standard Contractual Clauses for EU/UK users.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to: access · correct · delete · restrict · portability · withdraw consent · lodge a complaint. Contact: support@mamabloom.app — we respond within 30 days.

10. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

12. China (Mainland) Notice

This app is not designed for use in mainland China. We do not hold an ICP licence. The Bloom AI feature relies on Anthropic's Claude API which is not accessible within mainland China.

13. Cookies and Tracking

Mama Bloom is a native iOS app. No web cookies. No cross-app tracking. No advertising identifiers. No fingerprinting.
